Michael Grimsley currently serves as an Of Counsel Attorney for Moran Kidd Lyons Johnson Garcia, P.A. in Downtown Orlando. His practice focuses on the documentation and closing of commercial real estate loans and asset-based loans for institutional lenders, individuals and private entities, as well as the acquisition, disposition, leasing and development of commercial and residential real estate.
He has extensive experience in the documentation and negotiation of commercial loans in the areas of secured real estate lending, asset-based lending and United States Small Business Administration guaranteed loans (under both the 504 and 7a programs).
A former banker and United States Army veteran, Mike has represented commercial lenders in the Central Florida area for 20 years. His clients have included community and regional banks, private lenders, individuals, various entities, developers and investors.
Mike regularly represents lenders in all aspects of the financing process, from the execution of the commitment letter through the closing of the financing transaction. He has documented commercial loans involving the refinancing, acquisition and development of single and multiple commercial parcels, condominiums, hotels, residential subdivisions and mobile home parks. In addition, he has documented acquisition and refinance loans for equipment, as well as commercial working capital business lines of credit.
