Joseph Flores is an Associate Attorney with Moran Kidd’s General Liability Department and joined the Firm in July 2026. Joseph’s statewide practice focuses on the areas of general civil liability, premise liability, theme park liability, wrongful death, first party insurance disputes, and automotive and trucking liability.
Joseph was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He earned his Juris Doctor from Lincoln Memorial University – Duncan School of Law in 2020 and received his Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida in 2017.
While Joseph was at UCF, he began developing his advocacy skills through the UCF Mock Trial Team, where he grew his courtroom presence, oral advocacy, and ability to present persuasive arguments. While Joseph was in law school, he continued to develop his advocacy skills by joining the Lincoln Memorial University-Duncan School of Law Mock Trial Team. During this time, Joseph earned several honors including Best Opening Statement and Best Closing Arguments. Joseph was an integral part of earning the highest mock trial ranking in school history.
Prior to joining Moran Kidd, Joseph practiced criminal law, where he represented individuals in complex criminal matters, ranging from misdemeanors to capital felony cases. Joseph handled every aspect of criminal litigation to include case investigation, motion practice, depositions, jury trials, evidentiary hearings, and sentencings in high-stake matters. Joseph has extensive courtroom experience and litigation background which provides valuable insight into evaluating cases, developing effective legal and trial strategies, and advocating for clients.
