Christopher J. Conoly is a Florida trial attorney whose practice focuses on complex civil litigation and all aspects of general liability defense. For more than a decade, Chris represented clients in high-exposure cases from intake through verdict, building every case with trial strategy at the forefront. He joined Moran Kidd as a partner in the firm’s statewide General Liability practice group in February 2026.
Before joining Moran Kidd, Chris developed extensive courtroom and litigation experience on both sides. Chris spent years representing Plaintiffs in pursuit of their claims, and before that Chris was a partner at a highly respected defense and insurance litigation firm. This dual-perspective background gives him a strategic advantage in evaluating cases, anticipating opposing strategies, and positioning matters for efficient resolution or during trial.
Chris has managed and litigated hundreds of cases during both pre-suit and the active litigation process, serving as lead trial counsel and securing multiple favorable results for his clients. Chris has tried many cases to verdict, for both the Plaintiff and defense. His experience spans catastrophic injury, automobile negligence, premises liability, wrongful death, negligent security, theme park litigation, and various insurance-related disputes.
Chris is admitted to practice in all State Courts of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He earned his Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Florida State University.
